Fat Meezy's Story

Fat Meezy, born April 1990 in New Haven, Connecticut. He started rapping back in 2003 at the age of 13.  By the age of 17 started going heavy involving himself in the hip hop scene. Doing venues and opening for names such as "Bone Thugs and Harmony". He was involved in a number of projects and mixtapes. He's not a battle rapper or freestyle rapper. He is a songwriter, an artist who paints pictures with music.  Being in the underground circuit for about 15 years has formed him into the serious artist he has became. Music was his form of therapy and was a way to release himself from everyday stress and used music as an outlet. When times turned dark, he turned to a blank piece of paper and let the pen take him away to a different place. Recently he decided to give music up and ended up having a mental break down which landed him into the hospital for 3 days. While he was in the hospital all he could think of was his beautiful daughter and inspired to him follow his dreams to set the example. Hes determined to teach his daughter morals such as money isn't everything, never quit, and to always reach for the stars. He refuses to listen to the radio because of the nonsense they are feeding the air waves. He believes this generation is being brainwashed by music that holds no meaning and no true moral. He won't sit back and be taking advantage of . "Anybody can get on the radio, with the right financial background. Why would anybody pay for support? "- Fat Meezy

Along the way many artist have showed Fat Meezy support. Artist he looks up too and gave him the drive to keep pursuing music. When your influences tell you, the music your pumping out sounds dope, It hits a place that nobody can imagine. It feeds the fuel to inspire others to pursue their goals and dreams. Music changed his life, and music can change yours too. It's a crazy thought to charge an artist for promotion when music can be such a powerful tool.
Its time to bring back real music to this generation. Let's inspire the world together, one person at a time.
